Here is what we know about the upcoming film Shang-Chi 2, including the official trailer, release date and cast of the movie. MCU is into it fifth phase now and with it comes the new of great squeal and martial arts superhero films, Shang-chi 2 and the Legend of the 10 Rings. It’s been 3 years since Marvel released it’s most popular film, Avenger: Endgame which was the epic end to Infinity Saga.
Shang-Chi 2 is an unofficial title. For now we are calling it that but in the future months, we will get to know the official title of the film. We don’t know anything about the plot as the movie has not started filming yet. The title Shang-Chi and the Wreckage of Time alludes to valuable time and multiverse jumping. According to a hint from The Cosmic Circus in October 2022, it was the subject of a trademark filing by Marvel. In addition, the movie might delve deeper into the Ten Rings’ genesis considering believing that they play a significant role in the multiverse plot.
Simu Liu, the star of Shang-Chi & the Ten Rings, recently wrote on Threads (Meta’s recent platform). Liu was questioned about the status of his second solo film (now referred to simply as Shang-Chi 2), to which he answered bluntly that it’s not certain whether it would be released at this time. He also said that “Keeps pushing back due to circumstances beyond my control” because of Avengers movie that puts his movie in doubt and it was originally planned to follow an Avengers movie.
Moreover, Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: Kang Dynasty have been delayed to May 2026 and May 2027, respectively, due to which there will now be a five- to six-year gap between Shang’s titular flicks.

Shang-Chi 2 Trailer
The movies has not started filming yet so there is no official trailer for Shang-chi 2. But we will add it once it is out. Hopefully, the movie will start it’s production soon. For now, enjoy the fight scenes from the previous movie.
Shang-chi 2 Release Date
There has not been an official date set for Shang-chi 2 movie yet. However, star Simu Liu said in an interview that the film will be released between the upcoming two Avengers movie. This means that the film will be released somewhere between 2026 and 2027.

There is not much information about the cast of the film yet. The first Shang-Chi gained recognition for having the first cast that was completely Asian in MCU history. Only Simu Liu’s name as the sequel’s title character has been confirmed so far, but the rest of the previous movie’s main group is probably going to make an entrance which includes:
