Avengers 5 is an upcoming Marvel superhero film, officially called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The release date of the film has been pushed further by Marvel. The release of Avengers: Secret Wars, which is also delayed by one year, will mark the conclusion of The Multiverse Saga. But let’s just talk about Avengers 5 and everything we know about the film so far.
Avengers 5 or Avengers: The Kang Dynasty was originally supposed to be released in 2025, but like the Marvel usually does, it was delayed by a year and now the film is scheduled to be released in 2026. This is a whole 12 months of gap. Filming of Avengers 5 is not in the process and we are not sure about when it will start filming. However, what we do know is Jeff Loveness (writer of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania) is writing the script and the director of Shang-Chi and The Legends of the Ten Rings, will direct the Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty.
According to Variety, it was reported that the reason behind the delays in Hollywood’s films is because of the ongoing writers’ strikes. This has affected other Marvel films like Deadpool 3, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts and many others. The conflict between Paul Rudd (Scott Lang, Ant-man) and Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror) in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will continue in Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty as well.
Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty Trailer
The official trailer for Avengers 5: The Dynasty has not been released. In fact, the movie has not started filming yet, only the script for the movie is being written by Jeff Loveness. We will update this article with the official trailer as soon as it’s out. However, the early teaser trailer was uploaded by Screen Culture in July 2023. You can watch it here. It’s a long wait till we actually get to see the actual trailer and the film itself. There is not much of an information about the movie yet. All we can do right now is to wait and see the updates. We hope the film will soon start it’s production.

Cast of Avengers 5 is not confirmed yet. As the release date is too far right now so we don’t know anything for sure. Every Marvel fan is curious already and we are too. But we are sure about Jonathan Majors because he is definitely going to be part of the film to continue the fight with the Ant-man. You probably know Jonathan form Loki season 1, The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Lovecraft Country. In Avengers 5, he has been given the role of Kang the conqueror. Let’s just sit back and wait for the movie to be released so that we can enjoy it together.
It is completely unknown for now about who Kang will have to face in the Avengers 5. But fans have never stopped making predictions. Considering the ending of the last film, Endgame, there are a few chances of seeing Robert Downey (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), or Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) in this upcoming movie. Well, it’s still a prediction. Who knows what Marvel has got us this time. Let’s just wait and see for ourselves in 2026.
Although, Kang appeared in Loki season 1 but he was well introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He was a prisoner, imprisoned by other Kang variants and by the end of the movie, gets killed by Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne. Immortus was a real threat to Avengers in the movie. He gathers other Kangs variants to plan a revenge scheme against them. So there are high chances of variants appearing in Loki season 2 and Secret Invasion which will create a fight in the Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty.
Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty Release Date
The movie was originally scheduled to be released on May 2, 2025 but later it was delayed like other Marvel movies. The film will now be released on May 1, 2026. That’s a whole one year of delay.
